OGDENSBURG -- The Cure-iers Walk Team for JDRF receives a $250 donation from Seacomm Federal Credit Union to help Type 1 Diabetics.
All proceeds donated through The Cure-iers go to JDRF-CNY, which uses 90 percent of their donations on research of better treatments and the eventual cure of Type 1 Diabetes.
The team is captained by Devin Sterling Edward, 17, of DeKalb Junction.

This donation is applied to The Cure-iers’ 2013 total of $1,878.50 given to JDRF via the Walkin’ for Willz Walk to Cure Diabetes, which takes place every September in Potsdam.
