CANTON -- A Crary Mills man was charged with rape for allegedly having sex with 13-year-old female sometime in April, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Robert D. McBain II, 19, was charged with second-degree rape, felony, and second-degree criminal sexual act, officers said.
He was arraigned in Pierrepont court before Justice Robert Camp. McBain posted $500 bail and it to appear in court at a later date.
Deputies said their investigation is still open.
