CRANBERRY LAKE -- The Cranberry Lake Mountaineers Snowmobile Club sent seven members to the New York State Snowmobile Association's Annual Forum in Lake Placid last weekend, and came back with awards for two members.
The New York State Dealership of the Year award went to Fun Unlimited in Fowler.
Fun Unlimited is owned and operated by Bill and Janice Lutz, who have been very supportive in many ways to the snowmobile club, as well as many other organizations for many years, according to CLMSC Secretary Jodi Szlamczynski.
The state Youth Snowmobiler of the Year award went to Eric Szlamczynski, who is very active with the snowmobile club.
“He goes to all work weekends, helps with groomer maintenance and helps groom and maintain trails,” said club secretary Jodi Szlamczynski. “Eric loves the sport.”
She said Eric is the first recipient of the new award.
