CRANBERRY LAKE – St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce executive director Brooke Rouse announced today that southern St. Lawrence County will be great spot to witness the complete eclipse in 2024.
Rouse said that the website www.TravelandLeisure.com (with almost 3 million Facebook fans, and 3 million Instagram followers) named the Five Ponds Wilderness wilderness area and Cranberry Lake in St. Lawrence County's Adirondack foothills as one of the best places to watch the eclipse in 2024.
As one of the most central spots to the eclipse, the website predicts the lake will get about 3 minutes and 35 seconds of totality.
