Phillips Diner and a New York Avenue couple have been recognized by The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce’s Gateways and Corridors Committee.
The Committee announced this month’s winners at a board meeting Wednesday.
The mission of the Gateways & Corridors Committee is to encourage homeowners, businesses and the City of Ogdensburg to improve the appearance of the city to attract visitors, potential homeowners and investors.
Heather and Hank Duprey, 214 New York Ave., were chosen in the residential category for this month. While much of the exterior improvements to the property were done before they purchased it two years ago, they have completed the exterior work and are now working on the interior.
Phillips Diner was chosen to receive the business award. Judi and Don Ashley completely restored the exterior and the roof of the diner over the summer. Quite a bit of interior restoration took place as well.
