CLARE -- St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies have announced that County Route 27 between Tooley Pond Road to County Route 24 in the towns of Russell and Clare has been re-opened.

Deputies originally said the roads would be closed for approximately 48 hours so county highway crews can replace a culvert and perform road excavation.
However, highway workers were able to reopen the road by 6 p.m. tonight
