The St. Lawrence County Health Initiative's Healthy Small Business Project opens its Everybody, Everyday physical activity campaign July 11.
A six-week campaign, Everybody, Everyday challenges participants to establish a routine of daily activity each week. Developing a lifelong habit of daily exercise is the goal.
Employees pick the activity, how long they want to exercise, how hard they want to exercise, and when.
The emphasis is placed simply on planning a weekly schedule and exercising seven days a week. Employees can win personal prizes, and businesses will compete against each other to win recognition for increasing physical activity at the worksite.
