St. Lawrence County clerk staff and department of motor vehicles employees throughout the county joined in support of the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center in Ogdensburg. Employees wore ‘Save SLPC’ shirts to work, meant to raise awareness about the impending closure of inpatient services at the mental health facility in Ogdensburg. The shirts can be purchased at city hall and proceeds go to support the SLPC Task Force, which hopes to see the facility become a center of excellence.
