WADDINGTON -- The St. Lawrence County Legislature donated $75,000 to cover Waddington's $60,000 host fee for the Bassmasters Elite Tournament.
The remaining $15,000 was used to pay for the cost of the festival. Jonathan S. Putney Chairman of the Legislature authored the resolution to help finance the tournament.
Funds from the Tribal Compact agreement are used for economic development purposes.
