CANTON -- Cornell Cooperative Extension partnered with the St. Lawrence County Maple Producers Association to launch the maple season with a Tree Tapping Ceremony at the Cooperative Extension’s Learning Farm recently.
This event included a free pancake breakfast, tours of the sugar shack, and workshops with samples of delicious treats made with maple syrup including maple cream, maple candy, maple granulated sugar, and cotton candy.
Members of the 4H Club Program volunteered to help serve food, bus tables, give-guided tours, and answer questions.
