CANTON — A Russell man was charged with criminal possession of a weapon Dec. 11 on County Route 21, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Wayne R. Sharlow, 40, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon after a DEC officer found him in possession of a muzzle loader.
Sharlow is a convicted felon and is not allowed to possess firearms, deputies said.
He was cited and released.
