LISBON -- A Lisbon man and convicted felon was charged with possessing three rifles and a shotgun Sunday on Pray Road, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Donald J. Carpenter, 61, was charged with four counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Deputies said they received a complaint that Carpenter had weapons and their investigation revealed he did possess the rifles and shotgun.
Carpenter can not possess any weapons because he is a convicted felon, officers said.
He was arraigned in Lisbon court and released with on appearance tickets returnable to at a later date.
