WEST STOCKHOLM — Alex Smith will host a CD preview party at the home of Robin McClellan, 465 Old Market Rd, on Friday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m.
Smith grew up in Long Lake, in the heart of New York's Adirondack Park, and his music strives first and foremost to echo the culture of that area. He blends traditional folk harmony and strikingly modern lyrics, confronting today's most pressing issues with grace while paying homage to the musical tradition of the region, McClellan said.
His newest CD is called Close to Home. Info: http://robinmcclellan.com/.
