GREENWICH -- Congressman Bill Owens and Matt Doheny will meet tonight for their first debate of the 2012 election season, to discuss agriculture issues.
The Washington County Farm Bureau D-sponsored debate will be at Greenwich Central High School from 7 to 8 p.m.
Doheny, the Republican investor from Watertown who is challenging Democrat Owens for the 21st Congressional District seat, has been criticized by Owens and his supporters for not explaining his policies on some agricultural issues.
Owens, a Plattsburgh resident and retired Air Force officer, is seeking his second full term in the House of representatives.
