Congressional candidate Stefanik appoints Adirondack campaign advisors

After meeting on July 30 with the Adirondack Park Local Government Review Board in Keene Valley, Republican and Conservative party nominee for New York’s 21st Congressional District Elise Stefanik has announced a list of supporters who will serve as her Adirondack Park Advisory Coalition.

None of the 25 supporters advising her on the Adirondacks is from St. Lawrence County, but two of them, Senator Betty Little of Queensbury and Assemblyman Marc Butler, represent southeastern townships in the county, along with larger areas outside the county.

“The Adirondack Park is the heart of the 21st Congressional District. Ensuring that the residents of the Park and the local governments inside the Park have a say in their lives and their future is an incredibly important mission and it was a pleasure to meet with them today,” said Stefanik.

In the June 24 GOP Primary, Stefanik, a former White House advisor, won all 12 of the counties that make up the 21st District with 61 percent of the total vote.

She will face Democrat Aaron Woolf and Matt Funiciello of the Green Party in the November election.
