OGDENSBURG — The Community Bank N.A. branches here are staging a fundraiser to support the Ogdensburg Snackpack Program, which benefits the city’s elementary students.
Community members are encouraged to visit the State Street or Ford Street branch to donate to the effort.
Donations of all sizes are accepted, with a $3 donation sponsoring a child’s backpack for one day.
All donations will help fund the program from December through February.
The branches will collect donations now through Oct. 13.
Snackpack discreetly provides hungry children with backpacks full of nutritious and easy-to-prepare food on Friday afternoons, so they have food to eat throughout the weekend.
