Community action angels seek donations for Ogdensburg family that lost home

OGDENSBURG -- St. Lawrence County Community Action Angels are seeking donations for a family of nine that lost their home recently.

Coordinator Alicia M. Murphy said the family members have no place to live after a fire destroyed their home and belonging recently.

The family, who could not yet be identified, includes two adults and seven children.

Murphy said they are currently in need of food, clothing, and basic necessities.

"Please consider a donation to help this family through this terrible time," said Murphy Donations may be dropped off at CDP, 1 Commerce Lane, Canton or at the Ogdensburg Neighborhood Center, 330 Ford St.

"Thank you so much for opening your cupboards, closets and hearts," Murphy said.

A list of items needed by the family follows:

• Food (Especially high-protein items such as peanut butter, tuna, and beans)

• Enfamil Baby Formula

• Baby Food (Stage 2 & 3)

• Diapers – Size 2

• Diapers – Size 5

• Personal Care Items

• Men’s’ Pants, Size 34” x32”

• Men’s’ Shirts, Size XL

• Women’s’ Pants, Size 38” x 32”

• Women’s Shirts, Size L

• Boys’ Clothing, Sizes 10, 7, 4T, 3T, 12-18 months, 6-9 months, 3-6 months

• Girls’ Clothing, Sizes 3T & 4T

• Shoe Sizes Forthcoming

• Gift Cards Also Accepted
