COLTON -- Colton Pierrepont Central School's The Golden Horseshoes won first place in the middle school division at the North Country Jr. Iron Chef competition on recently.
The team competed against 16 teams in their age group from 6 counties across the North Country.
They had 90 minutes to prepare their original recipe "Golden Veggie Spaghetti (squash) with a toasted garlic and olive crostini.
