Airman First Class Christopher M. Sharlow of Colton, stationed at Dover Air Force Base, Del., received the honor of Airman of the Year for the 436th Operations Support Squadron and the 436th Operations Group.
Airman Sharlow was nominated for this award for his leadership and his outstanding service, motivation, and attention to detail during Operations Enduring Freedom and New Dawn.
The distinction of Airman Sharlow reflect credit upon himself and the United States Air Force, the announcement of the award said.
