PIERREPONT -- A Colton man was charged with drug possession after leaving the scene of a property-damage accident on Glenmeal Road Sunday, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Mitchel A. Regan, 27, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, leaving the scene of a property-damage accident, speed not reasonable or prudent, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to keep right, officers said.
No details were provided about the accident.
Regan allegedly had a small amount of marijuana in the glovebox of his vehicle.
He was issued tickets and released.
