COLTON — The Hepburn Library of Colton, 84 Main St., will be closed due to an act of vandalism, according to the library’s Facebook page.
The post on their Facebook page said the vandalism turned into a “major environmental situation.”
The library is expected to reopen Monday, July 17.
“It is unfortunate for the library community that someone would cause this to happen,” the library said. The State Police BCI have been notified.
Attempts to get more details about the incident from library officials were unsuccessful.
