OGDENSBURG – The first baby to be born in 2012 at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center came into the world on Monday, Jan. 2.
A son, Cooper Allen Blackmer, was born at 8:56 a.m. to Lonnie and Rebecca Blackmer from Colton.
Cooper joins two older brothers, Logan and Cole.
Cooper was delivered by Dr. Peter Dargie.
Celebrating Cooper's birth is mother, Rebecca holding Cooper. Standing left to right are OB nurses Cheryl Lester, Alainna Walters and Marilyn Smith with uncle and aunt Cale and Regina Panetti.
The hospital provided a gift basket for the new arrival.
