POTSDAM -- Chamberlain Landscaping of Colton has been awarded the contract to mow the lawns of eight town-owned cemeteries after submitting the low bid for the job.
The Town of Potsdam approved that bid at the Town Council meeting Tuesday night.
Chamberlain Landscaping’s bid was $2,160 to mow the Buck’s Bridge, Bacon in West Potsdam, Grant also known as South Potsdam Cemetery, Parmenter, West Potsdam, Hewitville, and Riverside and Calvary cemeteries near Norwood three times this season, and Dailey Ridge Cemetery four times.
One other bid was opened, from Seaway Valley Lawn Care of Madrid, for $2,700.
