With college back in session, Canton police issue more than 20 tickets for open container, public urination

CANTON -- Village police reported a busy weekend Saturday night and early Sunday, responding to many calls of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and public nuisance complaints.

The department reports 20 tickets were issued for public urination and open containers overnight.

Among those charged were:

• Joseph R. Spadaccini 22, of Canton, for Public Urination in the area of Community Bank on Main Street around 12:42 am.

• Nicholas W. Vangog 20, Aurora Ont., for Public Urination in the area of Community Bank on Main Street around 12:42 am.

• Meridith R. Philbin 21, Loudinville, for Open Container in the area of Park Street at 11:31 pm.

• John F. Gatti Jr 21, Cheektowaga, for Open Container in the area of Park Street at 11:31 pm.

• Javier A. Olivares 21, Woodside, for Open Container in the area of Park Street at 11:12 pm.

• Andrew R. Caswell 20, Bolton, for Open Container in the area of Park Street at 12:01 am.

• Thomas Lockwood 19, Greene, for Open Container in the area of Park Street at 12:01 am.

• Nicole E. Geissler 21, Cumberland, for Open Container in the area of Park Street at 10:50 am.

• Danny O. Lobo 19, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., for Open Container in the area of Park Street at 11:54 pm.

• Morgan C. Henry 19, Amherst, NH, for Open Container in the area of Park Street at 12:13 am.

Each was issued appearance tickets returnable in Canton Village and Town Court on Sept. 20 at 9:30 am., police said.

A number of other people were also ticketed, but their names were not available at the time this report was issued because paperwork was not yet complete, police said.
