NORFOLK -- Two Bronx men and a Potsdam man were charged with drug counts after officers going to arrest a fourth person on federal charges allegedly discovered a large amount of cocaine and some heroin.

Jonathan Harris, 20, and Nicholas Nixon, 27, both of Bronx are charged with felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

David P. Lashomb, 31, of 90 Flatrock Road, Potsdam is charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Massena Police, who assisted in the arrest, said multiple agencies went to 27 Cedar St. on Wednesday around noon to arrest Ricardo Garcia, 24, on a warrant issued by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Massena Police said they did not know the charges. Southern District court officials did not return a request for comment.

After taking Garcia into custody, officers got a warrant to search the house and allegedly discovered 110 grams of cocaine and one gram of heroin, investigators said.

Norfolk Town Justice George Grubee issued the warrant, police said.

Massena Police said there is an ongoing investigation.

Harris was arraigned by Norfolk Town Justice Donald Justyik and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton, in lieu of $1,000 bail or $2,000 bond.

Nixon was arraigned by Lustyik and sent to the county lockup in lieu of $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.

Lashomb was released with an appearance ticket for Norfolk Town Court.

Agencies involved included Massena Police, the federal Border Enforcement Security Team (BEST), St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, New York State Police and U.S. Border Patrol.
