The National Weather Service says we can enjoy the last full day of mild temperatures for a while as persistent low level clouds throughout the day will keep temperatures in St. Lawrence County in the mid-30s to mid-40s. It will be mainly dry today.

A ridge of high pressure will keep the North Country dry through the daylight hours today, before moving offshore this evening, allowing a cold front to bring rain and snow showers over the area tonight and tomorrow, the NWS predicts.

Drier and colder air will filter in behind the cold front, starting a colder trend for the work week.

The NWS forecast for the St. Lawrence Valley and the northwestern Adirondacks:
