Close to 300 St. Lawrence County National Grid customers are without power as high winds rage through the area.
According to the company’s power outage map, there are 102 people without power in Madrid, 157 in North Russell and several in Canton, Rossie, Gouverneur, Hopkinton and Colton.
Those without power in North Russell and Hopkinton can expected to get it back around 7:30 p.m., according to the website. They are still assessing the condition in Madrid.
They say it should be restored in Canton and Gouverneur by 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. in Colton and Rossie.
