HERMON – A clerk at Woody’s Store was charged with selling alcohol to an underage customer following an Underage Alcohol Sales Compliance Check by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies and Seaway Valley Prevention Council in the southern part of the county Sunday evening.
Dannielle J. Harmer, 20, 491 Pooler Rd., DeKalb Junction, was charged with prohibited sale of alcohol to a person under 21 years after deputies allege she sold alcohol to an underage agent of the sheriff’s office.
Harmer will answer the charge in Hermon court in July.
Deputies also attempted to have their agent purchase alcohol at Woods Store and Bakers Store in Edwards and Nice n Easy in Star Lake, but were turned away by clerks.
