The National Weather Service says people in Potsdam, Gouverneur, Ogdensburg and Canton can expect clear skies with temperatures in the high 40s all day Saturday but precipitation could hit all areas on St. Lawrence County Sunday and Monday.
Tonight's temperatures are expected to fall to just above freezing, with mostly cloudy skies.
Sunday is forecast to bring temperatures in the high 50s with a 30 percent chance of rain in all St. Lawrence County communities. The exceptions are Potsdam, with 40 percent odds, and Star Lake, which could see some snow.
Canton and Potsdam are looking at 30 percent odds of rain in the nighttime hours, as temperatures fall to the high 30s.
Monday is forecast to see thermometers climb back to the mid- to high-50s. There is a 40 percent chance of rain countywide, with slightly lower odds in Ogdensburg. The mountainous areas could see snow.

Today - Mostly cloudy, with a high near 49. Northwest wind around 9 mph.
Tonight - Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Sunday - A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 54. Northwest wind 5 to 7 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Sunday night - A 30 percent chance of showers before 1am. Cloudy, with a low around 38. Northwest wind 3 to 5 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Monday - A 40 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 56. North wind around 7 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Monday night - Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42. North wind 6 to 8 mph.
Tuesday - Partly sunny, with a high near 60. North wind around 8 mph.
