A high-pressure system will keep the North Country dry Friday evening, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 70’s, according to the National Weather Service.
A warm front will bring a slight chance of thunderstorms Saturday, with temperatures remaining in the 70’s, the service says.
Warmer and more humid conditions are likely to continue Sunday and into next week, the service says.
Daily showers and thunderstorms are predicted by the service, mainly in the afternoons and evenings.

The full forecast follows:
• Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. West wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the evening.
• Saturday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 77. South wind 6 to 13 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. Calm wind.
• Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8am. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. Breezy, with a southwest wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. Southwest wind 7 to 10 mph.
• Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. Southwest wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
