A high pressure system will move into the St. Lawrence Valley area tonight, bringing clear skies and cool temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday should start sunny and dry, but clouds will move into the area later in the day, the services says. The clouds will likely bring a mix of rain and snow Saturday night through Sunday.

Snow also looks likely for Veteran’s Day, the services says.

The full forecast follows:

• Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25. West wind 7 to 13 mph.

• Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 4pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 41. Southwest wind 6 to 10 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

• Saturday Night: Showers likely, mainly after 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 35. South wind 9 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

• Sunday: Showers likely, mainly after 10am. Cloudy, with a high near 45. Southwest wind 14 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

• Sunday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers before midnight, then a slight chance of snow showers between midnight and 1am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 26. Breezy, with a west wind 13 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

• Veterans Day: A chance of snow showers before 1pm, then rain showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Southwest wind 9 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

• Monday Night: Snow showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. West wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

• Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 31. West wind around 10 mph.

• Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 19. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph.
