OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center employees recently joined the American Heart Association’s 14-year celebration Go Red for Women Day earlier this month.
Claxton-Hepburn’s Employee Wellness Team, The Hepburn Health Nuts, planned activities around the Medical Center on Go Red for Women Day to help raise awareness and educate staff, patients and visitors about the dangers of heart disease in women.
Employees were encouraged to wear red, and additional messaging was displayed in the Medical Center’s Main Lobby, Cornerstone Cafe and on the employee email system.
Shown in the photo are the just some of the many employees who joined the movement by dressing in red.
