OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center is joining what the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists calls “National Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) Week,” Jan. 21-27 to recognize the role of CRNAs in the U.S. healthcare system.
This year’s theme, “Making a Difference, One Patient at a Time,” reflects CRNAs dedication. They stay with their patients throughout the procedures to provide the safest care possible.
“Every day, CRNAs deliver essential healthcare in thousands of communities and can prevent gaps in access to anesthesia services, especially in rural, inner-city and other medically underserved areas of the country,” according to a prepared statement from CHMC.
