OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center has hired a new board-certified hospitalist.
Dr. Thatte earned her medical doctor degree at K.J. Somaiya Medical College and Research Center in Mumbai affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India. She also holds a master’s in public health (MPH) through the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
Her residency in internal medicine was completed at Mercy Catholic Medical Center (MCMC) affiliated with Drexel University College of Medicine in Darby, Pa..
Dr. Thatte holds a board certification in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine.
When asked what Dr. Thatte plans to bring to Claxton-Hepburn, she said, “I believe in providing compassionate, patient-centered care to all my patients. Having been a part of the Harvard Medical Faculty based in the community hospital setting, I have an extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide variety of medical cases. I plan to use this experience to serve the local community by providing high quality personalized care.”
Outside of work, she enjoys, traveling, dancing, reading, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Thatte is fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi.
