OGDENSBURG – Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center employees recently joined the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Day awareness program.
Claxton-Hepburn’s Employee Wellness Team and The Hepburn Health Nuts planned activities around the Medical Center on to help raise awareness and educate staff, patients and visitors about the dangers of heart disease in women.
Events included encouraging employees to wear red, red dress pins were handed out in the Cornerstone Café and an employee health fair was held.
The café was decked out in red decorations and most food served in the Café that day was a healthier item and red.
Additional messaging was displayed in the Medical Center elevators and on the employee email system.
