OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center employees joined the American Heart Association’s 13-year celebration “Go Red for Women Day” recently.
Claxton-Hepburn’s Employee Wellness Team, The Hepburn Health Nuts, planned activities around the hospital on “Go Red for Women Day” to help raise awareness and educate staff, patients and visitors about the dangers of heart disease in women.
Employees were encouraged to wear red and additional messaging was displayed in the medical center’s main lobby, Cornerstone Cafe and on the employee email system.
