he book serves as a resource for clinicians providing palliative and end-of-life care, developments in treatments, changes in areas of policy and ethics, and the broadening scope of the clinical practice of palliative care.
Topics in the book include consequences of advanced disease, emotional and spiritual well-being, and managing pain and other physical symptoms and psychological symptoms.
The book highlights how a team approach with communication amongst all clinicians, caregivers, family and patient helps ensure that the patient benefits.
