POTSDAM -- Students from Clarkson University's Physician Assistant Student Society hosted their first 5K walk/run in Potsdam recently that drew 33 participants.
Part of the proceeds from the race are going to the Health Initiative’s Access to Care Program.
Pictured are Jennifer Freeman (CUPASS), Jodi Regan (Health Initiative Access to Care Coordinator), Scott Arno (CUPASS Race Director), and Carol Zimmerman (Health Initiative Staff, Tour de Potsdam Race Director).
The Health Initiative expressed gratitude to the students and the racers. This money will help the uninsured in St. Lawrence County get screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose.
For more information about the Access to Care Program, contact Jodi Regan at 261-4760, ext. 225 or jodi@gethealthyslc.org.
