POTSDAM -- For the sixth year in a row, Clarkson University has been designated a “military-friendly” school by Victory Media.

Clarkson University provides full tuition benefits to qualifying post-9-11 active duty service members, veterans and eligible dependents of military personnel under the federal government’s Yellow Ribbon Program.

With a long history of military preparation on its campus, Clarkson's Army and Air Force ROTC units are consistently recognized in Washington Monthly magazine's annual college guide as having one of the highest concentrations of ROTC military service in the nation. Students in these programs are the recipients of numerous awards and recognition for their scholastic work as well as success in field training, the announcement from the university says.

The designation and list is part of Victory Media’s effort to provide service members transparent, data-driven ratings about post-military education and career opportunities, according to a press release from the company.

Victory Media is owned by service-disabled veterans serving the military community since 2001. It publishes G.I. Jobs, among other publications.
