POTSDAM -- Clarkson University’s Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) program recently presented its 15th annual seminar for supply chain executives.
The annual four-day on-campus program attracted participants from 15 companies -- Toyota, Stanley Black & Decker, Xerox, Global Foundries, Lockheed Martin, Corning, Goodyear, Lutron Electronics, Raymond Corporation, Snap-on Tools, Car Freshener, Aero Electronics, Graham Manufacturing, Protiviti and Tapecon Inc.
In addition to lectures by faculty experts, the seminar featured simulations and negotiations exercises, and networking with industry professionals and Clarkson faculty.
“Our curriculum is effective because it mirrors the intensive levels of cross-disciplinary integration and the systems approach that are a must for successful corporations in today’s global environment,” said Supply Chain Management Chair Professor Farzad Mahmoodi, director of the program.
