POTSDAM – The Sierra Club has ranked Clarkson University among its “Cool Schools” for 2016.
Clarkson ranks 23 for academics and 45 overall out of 202 schools nationwide that reported on sustainability programs.
The ranking is open to all four-year undergraduate colleges and universities in the United States.
Clarkson has also been selected for inclusion in the 2016 edition of "The Princeton Review Guide to 361 Green Colleges." It is not a ranked list.
Clarkson also has been named one of the most environmentally responsible "green" colleges in the United States and Canada, according to the Princeton Review.
