POTSDAM – Clarkson University’s Army ROTC program will conduct training on campus today, and they don’t want people to be alarmed.
A group of 100 cadets will be brandishing fake rifles and doing a lot of yelling on the lawn at the corner of Maple Street and Clarkson Avenue between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. today.
They will conduct training on the Hamlin-Powers lawn (directly across from Kinney Drugs).
There will be military movements such as crawling and running. They will be using fake M-16 rifles, known as “rubber duckies” and will also be yelling at each other.
