POTSDAM -- Clarkson University has been awarded a $15,000 grant for the Qualcomm Software Engineering Student Project Space.
The Q-Space, to be housed in the Center for Advanced Materials Processing building, is for use by more than 130 students enrolled in the computer and software engineering program at Clarkson.
Clarkson’s software engineering students will utilize the “Q-Space” to promote teamwork, strengthen the learning environment, and encourage students to engage in extracurricular engineering activities.
“We are extremely grateful to Qualcomm for its continued support of Clarkson University,” said Clarkson President Tony Collins.
Collins added, “This generous grant from Qualcomm will allow Clarkson software and computer engineering students the opportunity to collaborate and learn from peers.”
