POTSDAM – A Clarkson University professor was recently honored by the International Journal of Production Research.
Clarkson University School of Business Professor Farzad Mahmoodi, the Joel Goldschein ‘57 Endowed Chair in Supply Chain Management and director of the University’s nationally ranked supply chain management program, has been recognized by the International Journal of Production Research as one of its most prolific individual researchers, ranked number 32 out of the 7,103 authors over a 26-year period.
A study published in the November 2013 issue of the journal, titled “The Origins of Research and Patterns of Authorship in the International Journal of Production Research,” recognized the top 100 individual researchers over a 26-year time period (1985-2010) based on their number of publications in the journal. The study considered a total of 5,372 articles published by 7,103 unique authors from 1,202 different institutions located in 95 countries.
