NORWOOD -- The second annual Claire’s Fitness Fun Day will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, at the Norwood-Norfolk Central gym, 7852 State Highway 56.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Adults and kids under age three are admitted for free. The cost is $5 per young person. There is a $15 special for families with three or more kids who will participate.
Claire, now five years old, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when she was just two weeks old. Cystic Fibrosis(CF) is a life-threatening genetic disease that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system.
Activities will include exercise with Elsa, hockey, basketball, an obstacle course, Zumba, Tae Kwon Do and fit kids class.
There will also be a silent auction and raffle, dancing, crafts and coloring, face painting and Jiu Jitsu with Spencer Paige from the Ultimate Fighters season 12.
