WADDINGTON -- Waddington Chiropractic & Wellness opened earlier this month at 7 Main St.
Malorie Farrell of Heuvelton describes herself as a “one-woman show.”
She works alone after having spent about four years working on athletes and others at a practice in Lake Placid.
Farrell says her approach is to “treat the body as a whole and identify the underlying issues.”
“I take an individual approach to each person — that’s how I set myself apart,” Farrell said.
Farrell uses modalities to treat clients as well as manual techniques. Modalities include electric-stim and ultrasound.
She accepts most major insurances.
The office is in a storefront on Main Street, near the liquor store.
Farrell generally works Monday-Wednesday and Friday. She will work with people to schedule appointment outside of the days and other hours as well.
“I’ve had several community members walk in and welcome me,” she said. “ I am excited to be a part of the community.”
Farrell received a bachelor of science in biology and mathematics from St. Lawrence University and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at New York Chiropractic College.
