WEST STOCKHOLM – West Stockholm and Brasher-Winthrop firefighters extinguished a chimney fire at an Old Market Road house this morning.

West Stockholm Fire Chief Robert White, Jr. said the fire was confined to an area around a wood stove in the living room of the house at 20 Old Market Rd.

He said firefighters were at the scene for about an hour.
