POTSDAM – Chilly Delight, a new frozen yogurt shop, will be opening soon on Market Street.
Lori and Tim Dillon say they have more work to do inside 57 Market St., and expect to be ready to open toward the end of November.
Several self-serve machines will offer 12 flavors of yogurt. There will be a toppings bar fruits, candy such as gummies, M&Ms, and skittles, nuts ands sprinkles.
To get into this business, the Dillons decided to close Dillon’s Used Furniture and Antiques on State Rt. 56, which they opened seven years ago.
“It was a hard choice but a good choice, I believe” said Lori Dillon.
She said they are keeping the flavors of yogurt and their plan for the interior of the shop “a secret. We’re doing that on purpose. We’re looking for the ‘wow factor’ when people come through the door.”
They plan to be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.
Members of the Dillon family will run the shop with an additional four part-timers.
