POTSDAM -- A Sweetgrass Foundation grant has recently been awarded to the North Country Children's Museum to complete the funding for the Museum's STEAM Power Exhibit.
The exhibit will be housed in the museum’s new building at 10 Raymond Street.
According to a press release from the museum, the exhibit inspires creativity and innovation as well as engages visitors in tinkering and invention related to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math).
In addition to providing a venue for staff‐led programs, table top self-directed activities and challenges with directions and materials stored in bins on shelves will be available and interchangeable to keep the experience fresh.
Exhibits here will encourage open‐ended, creative exploration while visitors explore STEAM related principles.
