PARISHVILLE -- Eddie Mason of Potsdam recently organized a charity softball tournament held at the Parishville Fireman’s Field which raised $740 for the Potsdam Holiday Fund.
The tournament involved five teams traveling from as far as Watertown and Akwesasne who braved the cold and rainy weather on a recent Saturday to raise funds for the holiday program.
The Potsdam Holiday Fund provides warm winter clothing, food and gifts for families and senior citizens living in Potsdam, Madrid, Hopkinton, Nicholville, Brasher Falls, Chase Mills, Fort Jackson, West Stockholm and Winthrop.
